Summit Activities Center Hours

***Please be advised to always call before visiting the facility to make sure all parts of the facility are open and available.  Large event gym rentals, swim team swim meets, scheduled maintenance of the aquatics area, inclement weather, and other reasons for not being open do occur throughout the year.  Follow on the Yankton Parks and Recreation Facebook page to keep updated on facility announcements.

Lap swimming is available to those that are 18+ during Summit Activities Center Hours. 

Fall / Winter Hours September 3, 2024 to May 23, 2025)
 Monday - Thursday   5:00am - 10:00pm 
 Fridays   5:00am - 8:00pm
 Saturday & Sunday   7:00am - 8:00pm 
 Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, & Easter Sunday

 

Spring/Summer Hours May 24, 2025 to September 1, 2025
 Monday - Thursday   5:00am - 8:00pm 
 Fridays   5:00am - 7:00pm
 Saturday & Sunday   7:00am - 7:00pm 
Closed Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day

 

 

Pool and Waterslide Open Swim Hours

Open swims are for everyone! 

Fall / Winter Hours (October 2, 2024 to May 23, 2025)

Monday & Wednesday

 6:30pm - 8:30pm
 Saturday & Sunday  1:00pm - 5:00pm
Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, & Easter  Sunday

 

Summer (May 24, 2025 to September 1, 2025)
There will be no scheduled indoor open swims for Summer 2025.
In the event of inclement weather and inability to open the Huether Family Aquatics Center, open swim MAY BE moved inside if availability allows.
Closed Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day
