Go green this Halloween…save money, and join the third annual costume swap at Yankton Community Library! Not familiar with a costume swap? It is an excellent way to find ‘new to you’, gently-used costumes, holiday clothing, and decorations while cleaning out your closet of unused items!

Beginning Sunday, September 22 through Friday, October 4, participants can donate clean and gently-used Halloween costumes or fall decorations to ‘shop’ the Swap Store. And new this year--we will also be accepting general holiday clothing (ugly sweaters or youth holiday Christmas outfits). So that really adorable outfit that your little one only wore one time can now be enjoyed by someone new!

Donors will have exclusive access to the Swap Store to shop for some cute and spooky Halloween and holiday finds from 9 am to 10 am on Saturday, October 5. All items in the Swap Store will be free and open to the public from 10 am to 5 am on Saturday and from 1 pm to 5 pm on Sunday, October 6.
