4th of July Fireworks and the Meridian Bridge
The City of Yankton is pleased to announce that on Monday, July 4th, the annual City fireworks show will start at dusk and can be viewed in Riverside Park. The fireworks will be shot off from the Nebraska side of the Missouri River. The City of Yankton would like to remind everyone that the Meridian Bridge will be open during the Yankton Fourth of July fireworks show giving a great vantage point from which to view the spectacle. Please remember that the Bridge is a pedestrian trail. The public will NOT be allowed to set up chairs, blankets, or other items that may block the pedestrian walkway on the Bridge as people will be crossing the bridge by foot, on bikes, by personal mobility devices, etc.
