Ready! Set! Game! Grab a friend and join us for some friendly competition each Sunday afternoon in January from 2:00 to 4:00 at the Yankton Community Library. A variety of old favorites and three new table top games recently added to the library’s collection will be available to explore.

One Night Ultimate Werewolf is a fast-paced game where everyone gets to play a different role. The players will determine who among them is a werewolf...hopefully.  There's no elimination and each game lasts about 10 minutes. Three to ten players can participate at a time. One Night Ultimate Werewolf is recommended for ages 8 and up.

Forbidden Island features players cast as a team of fearless adventurers on a do-or-die mission to capture four sacred treasures from the ruins of a perilous paradise. The teams will have to work together and make some pulse-pounding maneuvers, as the island will sink beneath every step! Forbidden Island is designed for 2-4 players. Each game lasts about 30 minutes. It is recommended for ages 10 and up.

Mascarade is a fast-paced party game of deceit and hidden identities for 2 to 13 players. It is recommended for ages 10 and up. Every player starts the game with an identity that everybody knows, but soon those identities will be moving around the table faster than you can keep track of them. The goal of the game is for players to gain the most gold pieces, either by telling the truth, or alternatively, bluffing.  Each round lasts about 30 minutes.

Players of all skill levels are invited to participate.  There is no charge. The library will provide a selection of games or you may bring your own. Please call the library at 668-5275 for further information.
