Emerald ash borer is established in the Omaha area and is probably not long before we find it in South Dakota according to Dr. John Ball, South Dakota Forest Health Specialist SD Department of Agriculture, Extension Forester SD Cooperative Extension, and professor at South Dakota State University. Informal public presentation will cover what we should be doing now to prepare and what can be done after it arrives. Questions about other trees for our region and their care also welcomed.
